3rd NUS Kendo Championships Series 1

After months of vigorous training, the NUS Championships is open once again for its new batch of contenders! Most importantly, it is time to pick up the pace once again after ICT in January.
Since MPSH 6 was not available that day, we decided to have our first ever internal series in NUS High!

Of course, not forgetting our juniors who have been training hard since their Beginners' Course, Series 1 is their first opportunity to have a go on a real shiai. Ganbatte!

This time, we started off with the robin matches for ladies with the men's eliminations on the other court concurrently. Kendokas from NYP graciously came over to help out for the officiating duties as well. Despite the heat and humidity, many of the participants put up a strong fight throughout the matches, especially the juniors!

We summed up the day with an exciting match between Kenneth and Yonghe! Congratulations to all finalists and also, to all the juniors who have successfully gone through their first tournament after half a year of training!
